Manchester United wants Mason Mount.
“Manchester United have set Chelsea’s Mason Mount as their main transfer target,” British media outlet GiveMeSports reported on Nov. 11 (ET).
The Red Devils have enjoyed success in their first season under Louis van Gaal. They won the Carabao Cup and showed promise.
Now, the Red Devils will be looking to bolster their squad this summer. One player they’re currently looking at is Chelsea’s Mason Mount.스포츠토토
The problem is the price. United don’t want to pay more than £60 million for Mount. Mount is in the final year of his contract with Chelsea.
Nevertheless, Chelsea are hoping for £70 million. That’s a lot of money for United. With his contract expiring, a move seems unlikely.
“Mount is a top target for Van Gaal, but United have a restricted transfer policy. They are unlikely to spend all of their budget to bring in a player for less early in the transfer window.”
Mount can play as both an attacking midfielder and a winger. His versatility is something that appeals to Van Gaal.
