In the Women’s Golf World Rankings released on 30 March, Bang has jumped a whopping 123 places from 233rd last week to 110th.

With her first win on the KLPGA Tour, Bang is now sixth on the money list and third on the rookie points list.

Ko retained her No. 1 ranking for the second consecutive week, while Nelly Korda (USA), Lydia Ko (NZL), Lilia Boo (USA) and Minjee Lee (AUS) remained at No. 2-5. Hyo Joo Kim is ranked 10th, giving South Korea two players in the top 10 alongside Jin Young Ko. Fazari Anannarukarn (THA), who recently won the Bank of Hope Match Play on the US Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour, moved up from 97th to 65th.
